Optical Reflectors for Use in Internal Sample Aqueous Čerenkov Counters

Properties such as reflectance, deterioration in water, and deposition of activities are investigated for several types of optical reflectors. Reflectance values for both visible and ultraviolet light are included and the deterioration tests extend up to water temperatures of 150°C. The influence of reflector properties on detector efficiency is also studied. © 1966 The American Institute of Physics.
